headers go to Nitroplate this Thursday; that's a 3 week wait.. may not make Doorslammers but for sure will be ready for the Halloween Race. keep having these little set-backs, like, this is NOT the correct tool for checking rotation on a set of electric fans ~~  should'a got stitches I reckon, but John Wayne wouldn't of.. ;D |

Well Hambone got the blue beast out last night at the valley. First pass ever in the car he went a 5.82 118mph.
Second pass was a 5.87 116mph.
Not to shabby for the first outing.

I got it on the lift last night, had to polish the shop floor first.  if you didn't see the 3rd pass, it cut out about 400'; ran short of fuel. have determined that for whatever reason the pump is surging, like it's returning more fuel to the bypass than it's sending to the front. + I was/am having start issues, I'm thinking the start retard in the MSD box. me and Evan gonna work on it tonight.  |
